1.1. Ongoing Web Design & Development Retainer
The monthly retainer provides ongoing custom web design and development services on a subscription basis. It includes one active request at a time, unlimited revisions within scope, an average turnaround of 2–3 business days per request, and monthly auto-renewal.
1.2. Project-Based ServicesOne-time custom web design and development projects are quoted individually.
Scope and deliverables are defined before the project starts, revision limits are specified in the project quote, and timelines are agreed upon before work begins.
2.1.Retainer TermsMonth-to-month engagement with no minimum commitment
30-day notice required for cancellation. Pausing available with 15-day notice. Unused time does not roll over. Services are non-transferable.
2.2. Project-Based Terms50% deposit required to commence work.
Final payment due before delivery of final files. Project timeline begins upon receipt of deposit and all required materials. Rush fees may apply for expedited timelines
3.1. Included Services
Framer development, brand identity design, web app design, landing pages, motion graphics, automations, and marketing consultation — delivered as custom, original work built specifically for each client. We do not sell, license, or resell templates.
3.2. Excluded Services
Copywriting, photography, video production, 3D rendering, native app development, and services not listed above.
4.1. Required Materials
Brand guidelines (if existing),content and copy, high-resolution images, project brief, and timely feedback and approvals.
4.2. Communication
A single point of contact is preferred. Feedback should be provided within 3 business days. Revision requests must be clearly articulated.
5.1. Rights and Ownership
All deliverables are built as original, custom work for each client. Client receives full ownership of final deliverables upon full payment. Scalr Studio retains rights to preliminary concepts not selected and maintains portfolio rights to showcase completed work. Client is responsible for trademark and copyright clearance.
5.2. Source Files
Working files are available for an additional fee. Standard deliverables are provided in common formats (JPG, PNG, PDF). Custom file formats available on request
6.1. Testing
All delivered websites and web apps are reviewed and tested before handoff to meet professional build and performance standards.
6.2. Browser Compatibility
Delivered sites are tested to function across major modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge — latest releases). We are not responsible for issues arising from unsupported or outdated browsers, unauthorised post-delivery modifications, or third-party service conflicts.
7.1. Retainer Revisions
Unlimited revisions within the original scope. Major direction changes count as new requests. Revisions must be requested within 14 days of delivery.
7.2. Project Revisions
Number of revisions specified in project quote. Additional revisions billed at an hourly rate. Scope changes require an updated quote.
8.1. Retainer Termination
30-day written notice required. Pro-rated refund for unused portion. Active projects must be completed or formally terminated. Final files delivered upon account settlement.
8.2. Project Termination
A kill fee of 25% applies if terminated before completion. All work completed and paid for remains client property. Unused deposit is non-refundable once work has begun
9.1. Retainer Payments
Monthly billing on the retainer start date. Auto-payment required. Late payments pause service. Failed payments incur a ₹500 fee.
9.2. Project Payments
50% deposit upon agreement. Remaining 50% before final delivery. Late payments incur 1.5% monthly interest. Payment plans available on request.
10.1. Good Faith Contact
Any concern must be raised with us directly at vraj@scalrstudio.in before a dispute or chargeback is filed. Disputes will first be addressed through good faith negotiation, followed by mediation if required.
10.2. Jurisdiction
Jurisdiction: Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. Prevailing party is entitled to reasonable legal fees.
All client business information is kept strictly confidential. Client materials are stored securely. Project details are not disclosed without authorisation. Confidentiality obligations extend post-project.
Maximum liability is limited to fees paid for the project or retainer period in question. No responsibility for third-party services, hosting providers, or platforms we integrate with. No guarantee of specific business outcomes. Force majeure applies for circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Terms may be updated with 30-day notice. Retainer clients will be notified via email.
